Unlike my other World of Warcraft CD’s, this one is printed on very high quality (actually archival quality), high gloss stock. It will last for a very long time and is completely waterproof (so when you spit up your beer from the stupid mistake your guildie made, you won’t ruin the clock). 

Image is printed using Epson’s Claria® Hi-Definition Ink.

There is no clear coat used and none needed.

Clock comes with a FREE desk easel and built in wall hanger so you can use this either way. If you are in one of those fabric cubicle offices, we found the 3M Micro Command strips work very well for hanging this clock. Just locate the pole that join two fabric panels and attach a strip. Hang the clock and you are set.

The clock movement is a new Quartz movement with step second hand. Runs on one AA battery (not included). Hour a minute hands are black metal, second hand is red metal. 

This is a new clock movement manufacturer I switched to and the clock is now very quiet. 

Clock measures 4.75″ diameter without stand.

So you are in the IT business and still using that old free vinyl business card case? Shame on you. Show em your “techyness”. OOAK since PCB is unique to this case.

We took an old printed circuit board, cut and filed it down. We then attached it to this aluminum metal case. Case holds:

About 10 to 15 business cards (depending on thickness of card
Two to three credit cards
Two to three of those pesky gift cards
Two to Three ID cards

Printed circuit board has been sealed with many coats of gloss sealer. Any protrusions have been sanded down to eliminate any snagging.

Fits comfortably in your pocket, purse, apron, briefcase etc.

Yes you read right!

This clock was made with old sticks of RAM (Random Access Memory sticks – they are the thing that give your computer more processing memory), that’s 64mb of RAM mind you. They were epoxied together to form the “U”.

I then removed and altered an actual RAM socket from an old motherboard and mounted that to a piece of wood. The wood is solid oak stained dark walnut with a groove for the socket. Green felt is on the bottom to protect your surface.

The clock face is made of a CD with a photo of the backside of a motherboard. The quarter hours are marked with actual RAM chips from another older stick. Clock movement is new quartz, step second hand. Runs on one AA battery NOT included.

If you wish, you could remove the clock from its base and hang it with the built in hanger.

What to do with all those old 3.5″ floppy discs?
Wait … make some pen and pencil holders.

We took old 3.5″ floppies, removed any labels and fashioned them into this unique pen and pencil holder. Great for your desk or the desk / work space of your favorite geek. A solid wooden base is attached to this triangle for a sturdy construction. Felt is then added to the bottom to eliminate any scratching of your furnishings. Brass nails are then affixed around the bottom sides to complete this look. In our original protoype we used tye-wraps for the corners. As we passed by our old computer stash, we noticed all the drive cables laying around. To keep with our recycling efforts, we took those cables, stripped them down and tied them off at the corners. A drop of glue assures they will not come un-done. NOTE: Actual key caps used will vary from picture. Pens and markers not included. So save a landfill and buy a pencil holder
